How to connect my xbox account with my EA account? HELP ME PLZ!!

HI cant u help me out ASAP i have a code to connect with EA (sims 3 pets) and i dont know how to connect my xbox account with the EA account!!!!! pl help me ASAP !!!!!! ...

EA took the server/ online services down for PETS for Xbox 360
