how to get another house in the latest update of the sims 3
ive been searching everywhere on the internet of the newest update in the sims 3 and i can't seem to find a way to get a vacation home in the basic sims 3 version it says you can

First of all, have you installed the 1.55 update yet?
- Before updating your game, please read this on what to do before patching, it's very important that you read it.
- After carefully reading the notes on what to do before patching, open the launcher and go to your Game Updates tab, click on refresh, a message will appear saying that there is a new software download available, select Update Now. If the message doesn't appear or if you have issues installing the patch from the launcher, use the Super Patch to update your game.
To have an additional house, you need to select your sim's phone and click on Real Estate and Travel Services, there you'll have the option to buy and additional house.
