Me too - agree, I mean - and thanks to Dante for adding here. It's really good when people like Dante and Crinrict, with some technical knowledge, try to look into these problems. Shame EA don't seem to do the same!

I admire Nicki for her perseverance without mods too. I don't mind the idea of adding mods to add 'extra' to the gameplay for those who want it, but the game unhacked should work properly and it doesn't, or not for many of us anyhow.
