Launcher crashes when I open the downloads tab in Sims 3

DOWNLOADS UPDATE:

I still can’t open the Downloads / Installed Content sections directly from the Sims 3 Launcher.
BUT I found a workaround that at least lets you keep playing and download new content.

Workaround:

1. OpenThe Sims 3.
2. On theMain Menu (where you choose your save), click the three dots.
3. Select“Open Launcher.”

Opening the launcher this way allows the Downloads tab to work, so you can install new worlds and other Sims3Pack content.

Important:
You still won’t be able to uninstall content from the launcher, but this workaround lets you continue playing and adding new content.

Hope this helps others until the issue is fixed.
