Monte Vista Not loading despite 2 purchases

Hi everyone; 

I have been trying to get back into the Sims 3 as a comfort game with all the craziness of the world going on and have had trouble with one of the packs that also is one of my favorites- Monte Vista. I have tried multiple times to install the world and it just is not loading, I've even gone to the trouble of buying it twice and have not had much luck researching other ways to get the world downloaded, can anyone point me in the direction of a potential way to fix this? Thank you. <3

    Fall3nD011​  If you still need help, please remove or rename the Sims 3 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts, open the launcher to create a fresh folder, then download and install MV again, and see whether it shows up.  Don't delete the old Sims 3 folder, which contains your saves and other user content.  If necessary, that content can be transferred to the new Sims 3 folder that has a valid copy of MV installed, but step one is to see whether MV loads in the new folder.
