Just as side note the sims 3 create pattern will save to file folder will not upload with EA app. When using the create a world it will let me create what is in my files already. To use in game mode to see if thing are there, it ask for origin to upload game will not start an then blanks out. For me: will copy my files and rename then an adding to my desktop the new copy. Also not able to game offline with sim3 at all with the EA App

New EA App Sims3 Downloading and Opening sims 3 launcher error?

Hi! I'm from Spain, but on the Spanish answers, I couldn't find the right answer. Now, with your comment, I hope that our problem can be solve. Yesterday, I could start Sims 3 launcher, but I went to shopping, and when i have returned my Sims 3 launcher didn't start like before. I tried for 2 hours to solve the problem, but not finded. Can EA help us? Sorry, if my English it's not okay, I'm learning it at Oxford Language School. I'll wait for an solution with u... Thanks for reading me, and salutes.

I am now having this issue right after downloading the trashy EA App. Origin never gave me trouble but now I can't play, literally because of the EA launcher. Same error message you have. It's unacceptable.

Just guessing here out of the millions of sim3 gamer... just 3 of us have this issue. Back in sept origin was not repairing the sims 3 games. For me I've had issues with gold roaring heights and hidden springs over the last year both bought through sims 3 store.(not origin) Tech suggest repair game before entering game and said this is an older game. It has been working. Just like to have your gaming pc system working and the client working right too. While the EA app was install gaming offline sims 4 (echo was my stopping point update.. didn't even have the game an the fixes did not work for the game.. lol.) (Will Never updated it again) For me sims 3 is just like my pups warm exhausting an happy an always hungry. Or whatever sims encounter. You have a great simmer call sign... Best to you! Will be awesome when its fixed!!! Hope

I am having exactly the same trouble. I have all of the Expansions and Stuff packs, they will not download at all. The "support" team had me try clearing the app cache and forcing a DNC flush. They have been giving me the run around for days and they aren't even offering Sim points or anything. They keep telling me their best team is working on it and I should just try again later. I never had this trouble on Origin and it is not available for download for my new PC.

Now out of millions of simmers 4 have this issue. Board shows a lot of haywire issue. Spoke with a EA tech person they just kept saying there working on it. No date. Kept asking when this issue started for me. Ask again the issue and what was done. Would not take down the EA app reports. An said they were only a note taker. Which is understandable. They are only (this call) message taker. Which must be stressful. Today origin starts with the one sims3 game on the bright side all the 14 expansion an installed content an worlds an create a patterns are still here. Its very disappointing your expected to just wait. (me too) Do you remember the free vacation phone calls ?
There are other sims site having issues too.

same here ever since installing new EA app, my game crashes & i can’t download store content. my sims 3 launcher won’t let me log in , it asks me to log in over and over in an endless loop. i recently bought a new world and some hairstyles and i can’t use them. Never had this problem until using the new app.

Update spoke to an EA rep11-12-22. They are still under investigations! Will need to wait for EA Fix. "That" Origin is now closed". Today my expansion pack disappeared all of them. Trying the codes from the disc, kept stating you need to install the base game. Right silly base game is still installed. Okay well the launcher is empty for stuff and expansion. The store stuff is all in the downloads and ready for gaming. ( makes no sense) EA app is still not working but all the expansion are checked. Just guess the launcher would be ready for the EA app if it worked.
Trying the repair, still nothing. You would think the code of launch failed on EA's end would have a quick fix (Guess not) The EA rep stated origin is now closed uninstall it. Guess I'll go find a go kart game. Check back in few days! Take Care
