new EA app uninstalled Origin

Last night I played and saved The Sims 3 with NO problem. I have Ambitions  ,Late Night  , Showtime , and Seasons extension packs also. After I closed Origin,   prompted me to download the new EA app...

Can you run through the steps here please under "Having problems installing?" and let me know if they help?

@EA_Cade I did everything you suggested. Everything computer wise is compatible. Once again after clearing out things related to the EA app, I uninstalled/reinstalled the EA app again. Still Won't open at all, and now Origin has been removed as well, as it is needed to play thru EA app🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

    If the EA app has properly installed, but isn't launching, we'll need to try the following steps:

    @EA_Solaire After following steps from the previous post, I remembered in my Programs and Features, you can either uninstall the EA download or "repair" it. I did a repair and it went thru several updates and such. I then restarted my computer, clicked on The Sims 3 desktop icon and to my surprise it opened,with no Origin installed.. YAY!!!. Right now I'm playing my latest saved game, and everything is there. I hope this will keep working,I'm kinda scared to close the game when I'm done playing. Thanks so much & I'm keeping fingers crossed. Will post if it acts up again🤔🙂

    @EA_Solaire Okay so unfortunately, this is day #2. Was playing TS3, through the EA app for last 2 weeks and it was very good. Now beginning yesterday, the EA app won't work. I no longer have Origin either. After several attempts to play it, I got frustrated and uninstalled the EA app today. It was saying connecting to EA, and then wouldn't load. Looks like I need help and suggestions again😥
