So yes you should've been emailed the code.  If you deleted it, then you have to contact EA to get another.  They must have system for recovering it and/or giving you another since many people lose it.  However, just note that EA is uber overwhelmed at the moment because of multiple bugs/crashes/game releases so it might be a while before you get through to them: https://help.ea.com/contact-us
