Registration code = Product code?

Im trying to register my Sims3 game, for the installation I need the registration code, which i figured was the product code I got from origin. But when I paste the product code in, the blue continue botton doesn't show up. Is that not the registration code?

@Blu3B3rri At one time the code was called a registration code but as the DRM changed the code on the disc is now out of date. If the game icon is in Origin already the game has been activated. The disc is no longer required to play so the physical version is no longer needed. A fresh installation is quicker to use the digital download version from Origin. Sims 3 is at version 1.69 and that update only comes from Origin. This will allow DLC to be added properly. If you install from disc the game will have SecuROM and SafeDisc which are no longer supported by Windows 10 and El Capitan. All DLC has been updated for Version 1.69 so while a disc version will continue to work you will have issues adding DLC to the game.
