Reparing structures after fire.

After turning on a fireplace the room caught fire. This has happened every time I turned on the fireplace (yess a lot of hours rebuilding over and over) that high-end round-front fireplace. I dont recomend any one useing that particular object in their game play.

I called fire department and the flam was extingused. There were black marks on floor so I attempted to lay a new wood floor - it would not place over scorch marks. I tried destroying the entire floor down to the wire-frame above the floor below - the area that was scorched would not remove. I rebuilt everything but the scorch remains. I tried putting a carpet over the area but the scorch marks show through the carpet. Ther is masive collision detection errors and those objects no longer seem to be detected (objects that were scorched).

Also, although I can place full length windows on those walls - I can not place any doors.  one glitchy system.

I only have 30 hours with the game so am a novice - bare with me and my ignorance.

I have no understanding of the nominclature or the game play or of this forum - again, bare with me.

Any help is appreciated - Thanks.
