@ida_ipad123 Sims 3 codes can't be registered a second time, even by the original owner. So it's no surprise that you couldn't register yours.
Does Sims 3 show as owned in your Origin game library? How old is the disc you're using? Please check the copyright date on the back of the case, and let me know whether you see an Origin logo anywhere on the case.
@puzzlezaddict Sims 3 does show as owned in my origin game library, The disk is about maybe 4-5 years old. I don't know about the copyright date since I don't know what it is but there is an origin logo on the back

I actually tried to buy the game again but it didn't work, it was a good thing that I bought it from g2a for like 2-3 dollars

@ida_ipad123 There should be a year listed in the fine print on the back of the case, something like Copyright 2011 or whatever. But it sounds like your disc copy is a bit newer.
Did you buy the disc from G2A or just a product key? It's possible you got a bad code and that EA has only now blocked it, but that shouldn't be the case with sealed disc copies. If you only got a code from G2A, why did you install via disc in the first place? When Sims 3 is registered to an Origin account, it can be downloaded directly, with no need for a disc to play.
