Hello everyone,
since I've updated macOS to macOS Tahoe 26.3 when I try to lunch sims 3 the app dose not respond. I've tried to reinstall the game - same thing. I tried to repair the game through EA app - still no response. Now I've updated to macOS Tahoe 26.5 and the issue remain the same. Do anyone of you faced the same issue and if so - do you know how to deal with this?
KamilCH1997 As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you open the launcher, if it opens, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs, that is if you can get that far.
If that doesn't help, please try again but with your computer offline. You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi before pressing Play.

KamilCH1997 That's great. Your saves are unlikely to be the cause of this issue, so if you want to move them to the new folder, go right ahead. They're inside Saves, naturally, with one folder per save. The ones that end in .backup are the files from the second-to-last time you saved your progress, so you can ignore these unless a main save doesn't load.
