Sims 3 newborn not appearing

Question

This has happened twice now when playing the game. &nbsp;When Sims bring baby home from hospital, there's no baby appearing in the game, just the green arrow that normally appears above a Sims character. &nbsp;Any suggestions?

I assume you named them? What happens if you reset them?

open cheat console (shift, ctrl, c)
type: resetSim: firstname lastname
hit enter

Otherwise, if you go to edit town and select your family - does the baby show up? Maybe move it and its mother out and then back in

This happens so me on occasion , you have to age the sim to toddler and then make them change outfit at a set of drawers&nbsp;😕mileyvery-happy:
