Sims 3 No Longer Works After Switch From Origin To EA Games

Hello! I have the DVD version of the Sims 3 and multiple packs. However, ever since the Sims switched over from Origin to EA games, I have not been able to play it at all.

  I have downloaded it and uninstalled it to reinstall the game again. I've repaired the games multiple times. Restarted my computer and looked for so many solutions online. Nothing has worked. Sims 3 is one of my favorite games, I would be so disappointed to know if I've lost my game forever. The Sims 3 loads on EA games just like normal, it takes me to the Sims 3 menu, and then when I press the play button, it takes me back to EA games. So I can never play it. I do not have any mods so I am at a complete loss on what to do. I couldn't find anything on EA Help that worked and I couldn't find anyone to ask.
