Sims 3 Pets achievement glitch

Question

HiIve been playing the sims 3 pets for a while now and my last achievement was the "Its good to be a sim" i reached the 150,000 life time happiness points after hours of gameplay but the achievement didnt pop. I looked online and there is nothing about this problem. If someone could help I would be very grateful, having one achievement left is very annoying!!!!
