What if I have already saved during the baby loop? What then?

Can you change the active family anyways ?

Did you try to wait it out to see if it eventually stops ?

  No I did not wait but it got up to 8 babies at one point. I also don't really know how to change active familys.

    Go to edit town (if possible) and click on another family. You should then have the option to make that active.

Well what I did was save the game the day the baby was suppose to be born. Then I went to edit town, split up household, and moved the pregnant Sim into a different house. I played the father until he got the message saying the baby was born, then I moved everyone back in together.
