Sims 3 starter pack

Hello everyone. I recently purchased the sims 3 starter pack disc from 2013 secondhand. I put it in my windows 10 PC, manually opened the autorun.exe, and tried to create an account with the origin app, but it said there was no internet connection. I looked, and there actually was. I turned the WiFi off then back on, but that did not do the trick. I tried to activate it with the product code provided in the modern EA app, but it said, "that code has already been activated". Any possible solutions?

As for the code, it sounds like the first owner redeemed it, so you're out of luck.  Codes can't be used twice, nor can they be removed from an account to free them up for a new one.  And since EA terms of service don't allow transfer of games, you won't be able to get help from support.

It might not be what you want to hear, but the Starter Pack is occasionally on sale in the EA App for 50-60% off, in case you still want to play.

Thank You for replying anyways. Is there any way I can install on the EA app from the disk?
