Sims 3 Uploading to the exchange

Question

Since October I have been having problems uploading to the Exchange. I am able to send items thru to the launcher no problem, but the problem lies when I try to upload to the exchange. Most of the time the upload completes and shows the green upload arrow next to my item. Sometimes I am getting error failed attempt in the form of the red circle with the line thru it. When I have a complete upload, where the green arrow in the launcher shows upload is complete, the item is not showing up in my studio. I do have items on my computer from TSR, however I do use Custard and Delphy's Dashboard. I ran Delphy's Dashboard at the end of September but I only had a few corrupt files and a few conflict files. At the time, I went thru the process of deleting items I didn't want as well. I did it again today.

I tried a test upload where I placed a 2 X 2 box with a roof on a lot and tried to upload it. It didn't make it to my studio. Several days later, it did work, same box on a lot. No changes to it.

I have tried clearing my cache before the upload and I checked my Norton 360 premier to see if anything had been quarrantined. I did that because I am no longer able to use the link on my toolbar to start my game and I wanted to know if Norton had anything to do with it. I have tried uploading sims and a couple of boats from Island Paradise. I stripped my boats of all CC and they still wouldn't go. I did the same with my sims. Today, after 8 times, I finally got a sim to fully upload to my studio.

All my games are downloaded from Origin. My computer is Windows 7. I would appreciate any help in this matter.

Just as a bit of extra info. I also purchased Island Paradise in the fall. Since the day I got it, my game has been freezing and starting, freezing and starting. I finally gave up after a month and a half and purchased Sunlit Tides and have been playing this map/town. However as Island Paradise is my newest expansion pack, I am still playing off of it. I tried other towns and the freezing thing didn't happen. It's also not happening with Sunlit Tides. Perhaps the Island Paradise expansion pack needs re installed and that is why the problem with uploading to the Exchange?

i can only give you some help with your IP a lot of people are having the same issue as you with the lagging/stuttering IP (island paradise ) does have a lot of routeing issues hence the lagging/stuttering/semi freeze in that world so i as a sim player and other players are waiting for is a patch to fix that no e.t.a. there is a bug thread on the sims 3 site island paradise forum about this and other issues concerning IP and the team look in it to see what the issues are and i hope to see what patch is needed to be made

i will post this in the helpers corner to see what assistance you can get with not uploading your lots to your my studio

ThanX for the info on IP. &nbsp;A couple nights ago, I found a link here with Crinrict and another player having the saving uploading issue that I am having. &nbsp;She told that person to delete a file. &nbsp;It was a log file to do with uploading. &nbsp;So I did and it worked. &nbsp;Ive been uploading from that time on. &nbsp;I've been trying to find the link so I can post it for others, but I am not having any luck.

So deleting the log file worked for two days. &nbsp;Now I am back to where I was. &nbsp;I just spent three hours trying to upload a sim, changing her everytime I tried. &nbsp;I stripped her of any CC and she still wouldn't go. &nbsp;I have a family saga going on right now that people are following. &nbsp;Otherwise I would just say forget it and have nothing more to do with the Exchange. &nbsp;I only download from TSR myself and I havent done that for quite a while either.
