Sims 3 website cannot change avatar background!

So I recently got the sims 3 like a month ago... I uploaded my own avatar to the sims 3 website as my profile pic, but I cannot change the avatar background so it just plain white. I know the steps...

Ive been trying to change my sims 3 website Avatar background and it just doesnt work, LOADS of people are complaining on the forums and EA still hasnt fixed it... help?

It's still an issue as of today. I really hope this gets fixed ☹️
