@JillianJae wrote:Hi,
My Sims 3 will not load after installing OS X Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard on my Macbook Pro. It worked perfectly before the installation of Mountain Lion. The desktop sims 3 icon will appear, I'll click on it, and it wants me to "install" the game even though the game is already installed. I'll click the installation option and it will "quit unexpectally" and will not load at all. I do not know how to fix this and do not even know what the problem is.
Thanks,
Jillian
Hi Jillian
When you say that the icon appears on your desktop and you click on it, that would generally start the installation process. Instead, go into Applications on your Mac and look in the folder called The Sims 3. You should see shortcut icons for the TS3 base game as well as any expansions that you have installed. Double-click on the base game icon to open the Launcher from there. To save you having to look in the folder each time you play, you can drag the shortcut icon to your Mac's dock and click that next time instead.
