I'm on my 5th family and at some point each time my sims stop learning skills. I've been all over the internet for advice. I've reset sims, moved sims. uninstalled and reinstalled the game, tried playing the game without updates, without origin. I've tried every thing. I've gotten new expation packs last christmas that I haven't even gotten to play with because just as I'm learning alchamy I get to about level 5 and the sim quits learning.

So what I'm gathering is that because vampires learn fast it causes a glitch wich can make other sims not learn at all. My first sim was a vampire and he stoped learning but my human could and then she couldn't eaither. I now have a new family after I restarted my computer back to factory, and redowloaded the game. I have no modified content on it what so ever and about after a month or two of playing she quit learning. Are there no EA game patches for this? It seem every answer I get I can down load something from some third party web site I've never heard of or I can be a computer wizard and go into my computer and just start deleting stuff. Which I have tried, before I restared the computer back to factory. I followed web site after web site with instructions on how to fix it. "Go into this,type that, delete this,restart computer restart the game." I wouldn't think it wouldn't be that complicated and I know I'm not the only one who has this problem. What is the point of even playing this game if they can't learn. I would think this problem would be a kind of high on the list of glitches to take care of. I mean they have patches for every thing, but oh yeah the vampires make it so you can't learn sorry. That doesn't even make sense.
They are not connected per se. It's just the same bug that causes different behavior and no, I don't think EA ever patched it.
