Florfisims​  The Smooth Patch was built to work on 1.69 as well as 1.67.  Lazy Duchess posted a few months that the patch doesn't seem to be working at all, but I'm not sure what broke it: a Windows update or an EA App update or something else.  Still, you can always try it.  If it doesn't do anything, remove it and repair the game, and you'll be back where you started.

The tell is that objects will spin a lot faster in Build/Buy modes with the patch working.

And I'm glad to hear it worked.
