The Sims 3 on Mac - Things Not Working

After the 2025 June or July update on Mac a lot of things broke such as:

Mac cannot read .exe files which I have found this is what is the core issue.

• Collecting Bugs
• Swimming / Fishing in the ocean. ANYTHING OCEAN
• The Sims 3 Launcher ( Downloads tab specifically )
• Mac can no longer read sims3.pack files 
• the launcher does not identify sims3.pack files

While not a long list these are core issues that are making it hard to play recently. I have been trying to ignore but it gets harder as I wish to play the game properly. I am not technical so I cannot dig deeper into the issues with .exe files or converting sims3.pack into package. I hope this information can maybe help someone to dig deeper into finding a fix because I cannot. I made the mistake of installing and reinstalling when this issue first happened and lost everything ( CC and STORE CONTENT ) installed in my launcher. Unfortunate that I can no loner use CONTENT I PAID FOR... from the sims 3 store. Worlds are $20 and I cannot access them the "right way" because the launcher will not read the file.
