The SIMS 3 Supernatural Installation error

Heii there!

I just activated my code for SIMS 3 Supernatural, started the download and at 72% it began installing and failed to do so without error code.

I have attempted relaunching the EA App, running it in admin mode and relaunching the download.

I'd love some assistance with this.

    Are you seeing any kind of error message when the download stops? 

    Let's try the following steps:

    • Open task manager, locate EA Background Service, and end task
    • Clear the cache for the EA app
    • Run the EA app as an administrator 
    • Check for any background applications blocking the EA App
    • Try lowering your User Access Control Settings:
      • Close the EA app
      • Click the Windows button and type "UAC" in the search field
      • In the User Access Control window, click and hold the slide bar —slide it to the lowest setting available
      • Click Okay the bottom of the window
      • Open the EA app client and try starting the download again

  • Hello,

    I have solved it. I had some of the games/expansions on CD and some digitally in EA. I added them all in EA, uninstalled them all and then downloaded them via EA. Then the latest expansion also worked without any problems.

    @EA_Solaire Hey, for me it's not working and ive spend 20 euro in the inline shop to buy it. please help ☹️

    Where did you purchase your pack from, and are you seeing a specific error message?

    Wait I’m having the same issue I don’t understand what you did cause I have some digital and some with disc’s and I can’t install the disc via the ea app what did you do

    @SWEETYLILI123  Can you register your discs in the EA App, or have you done so already?  Once they're added to the App, you can download them without needing a disc.
