This house must have at least one fridge and enough bed spaces for all Sims.

When I try to move out my Sims (by right-clicking their mobile and choosing Real Estate and Travel Services... -> Move... -Within This Neighborhood, leaving the current household as the active one and picking a new house for sims that are moving, the validation of this new house works improperly.

It seems it only counts beds and doesn't take into account their types and sims age. For example when I try to move out a pair of people being married to a house that has one big (two-person) bed (and of course a fridge), the error message from the subject pops up. When I go to that house in edit mode and add one single bed, the message disappears and I can successfully move there. The same happens for infant and toddlers - even if there are enough cradles, the game requires that there are big, adult beds for them.
I wanted to report it as a bug to EA, but this forum was recommended (and apparently the only) way for contact for that.
By the way, I wonder whether there will be any further bugfixes for this game in the future?

  • @krecha_ae  Are  you using any mods, for example NRaas StoryProgression?  If so, you can disable rigorous home inspection:

SP > General Options > Options: Lots > Options: Inspection > Rigorous Home Inspection > False

Or you can play with the other options in that category.

This is not a base game feature.  I've moved a number of sim households to empty lots over the years and built their houses afterwards, and the game has never thrown any kind of error or warning.

As for bugs getting fixed, no, that's not going to happen.  The Sims 3 development team was disbanded nine years ago, so there's no one around to work on the game's remaining issues.
