Unable to Download or buy Content from The Sims 3 Website- Game Ownership Issue

Hi ,

I’m facing an issue when trying to download or buy content from The Sims 3 website. It says that I don’t own the game, even though I have it installed both on Steam and through the EA app. I also tried entering the CD code from Steam, but it’s being flagged as invalid despite being copied directly from Steam.

Could someone please assist me with resolving this issue?

  • @Sarahaa21  If you click My Page on the Sims 3 site, and look in the lower-left area, does the site think you own the base game?  I'm talking about this:

    If not, you'd need to contact EA customer support to ask that the base game be added back to your account.  It's worth emphasizing that access to the Store is one of the base game features and still worth having (and still supported).  I would strongly recommend using live chat rather than email.  If you don't see the option, try this link:

    Make sure you're signed into an EA site (this one is fine) before clicking the link and that the location in the lower-right corner of the browser window is set to U.S. or U.K.
