Unable to install add-ons (expansions) for Sims 3.

Hi,

I can't download expansion packs (now known as add-ons) for the Sims 3 game. I own the Supernatural expansion and it confirms this on the EA Play portal. However, I just can't download it into the launcher. It doesn't appear in the launcher, there's no download button in the EA play launcher either. I approached the help centre back when EA Play was Origin, and there was no resolution to the issue.

I've literally tried everything, I don't know if there's a way to un-attach the add on from my account and re-enter the redeem code (I have an old CD disk with the activation code that I used before Origin was mandatory), or if I can get a new redeem code for it in order to add the extension that way. There's no other solution I can think of other than remove the game from my account and re-attach it at this point, as I experienced this problem after an account merge. Please advise.

    @Dracolich2011  There's no way for you to remove and add back an expansion.  But you can ask a support rep to do that for you, either through the standard customer support channels:

    or through EA Help on Facebook or Twitter.

    Either way, please ask that the "entitlement" for Supernatural be removed and added back to your account.

    If support doesn't help, please let me know.  You might also need to wait until Monday to get a reply from someone who understand the problem; I would guess the support centers are short-staffed this weekend.
