''user interface'' menu thing has shrunk

When I tried to go on Sims after updating to windows 10 the resolution had changed along with all the other settings so I put it back up to the highest resolution but the higher the resolution the smaller all the text, options, alerts in the corner, bar along the bottom, etc. got, so the words are barely readable.

I tried to find fixes but many say to right click on the icon, click properties and go on the compatibility tab but I don't have that tab.

I had the same problem on my laptop when I updated to windows 8.1 and I tried uninstalling and downloading it again but nothing changed I ended up just uninstalling it altogether.
