why is my sims 3 crashing to desktop with no error code or warning?

hello I am having an issue where my sims 3 game just randomly stops working and  crashes to my desktop with no error code. I had this before and then updated my graphcs drivers, repaired my game via ...

I have also noticed that my mods folder does not hold any of the regular clothing and cc type mods except my nrass mods (i added them again as I saw online it sometimes can fix the issue)

My mod are only actually saved within the sims 3 launcher and im not sure how to access and remove them in a way I could easily put them back.
