Hi I hear you.
According to a Sims 4 News website - it says they are issuing an emergency patch next week. I am not sure if this is an issue they are including in the patch. What I have been doing to get around any negative behaviour - if I catch it in time is. (Apologies if you know this already). If you have cheats enabled - ie type testingcheats true into the cheat bar and press Enter. Then if you see one of your sims on the verge of doing something you don't want them to do. Pause the game, press the Shift button and then click on the Sim you want to stop, and then select Reset Object Debug. It then stops the sim from doing whatever you didn't want them to do. This has been rescuing me, in the meantime.
