Sims’s eyes close better in more forms of sleeping.
There was a fix for one issue in this thread. There's still issues with the eyes that currently have threads.
Please use either of these, depending on what you see
We are still waiting for a fix and news. We won't give up, we'll keep posting in this thread until the problem is finally solved.

Hi guys, it's just rjssim here. We are indeed still waiting for a fix for these critical eye bug issues. It's been a long time since a lot of us storytellers have been able to play the game because these critical eye bug issues affect the appearance of the sims which means we can no longer take screenshots for our stories. Can we please get a fix for these critical eye bug issues. I would really like to continue on with my sim story that I started 10 years ago, and I'm sure other simmers would appreciate being able to continue on with their sim stories as well.
The critical eye bugs include:
Eye shape bug: The shape of the sims' eyes has changed, and in a negative way. They look off and wreck the appearance of sims.
Lighter eyelashes with preset eyes bug: Eyelashes that come with preset eyes are now lighter and also ruin the appearance of sims. The eyelashes are supposed to be black.
Eyes not closing all the way (All animations) bug: Sims can't close their eyes all the way anymore. How are they even supposed to sleep? If we couldn't close our eyes all the way, it would sure be difficult to sleep too.
Eyelids going into eyes bug: Eyelids are going into sims eyes. I'm sure none of us would want our eyelids going into our eyes!

I wanted to post again before this site goes dark tomorrow while it is getting combined with the launch of the new forum (see this post https://answers.ea.com/t5/EA-Services-Announcements/EA-Forums-is-fully-launching-in-a-week/m-p/14414705). I was disappointed to see no mention of addressing these critical, game-breaking eye bugs with the small patch that will be coming out next week. I really, really hope that these issues will be addressed.
There are a lot of us that play The Sims games to help alleviate stress and with so many people are really struggling right now, it would be nice to be able to play the game and not get aggravated at the fact that they eye shapes are distorted and do not fully close, in addition to the other bugs. I am just saying that it would be a very pleasant surprise to see these bugs get fixed now, when so many of us are having such a hard time.
P.S. These bugs are affecting all Sims players, not only players using mods.
I really hope this thread doesn't end up in oblivion, that would be very serious and disrespectful. We've heard nothing, despite weekly reminders for months, and every patch that comes out only fixes minor bugs. What's the point of this forum, I wonder?
I found this topic with a list of reported bugs, but this bug isn't listed, so I guess it should be opened there too?

I read the list. They have the issues separated rather than combined. The only one that's not on the list seems to be the eyelids going into the eyes bug.
EDIT: I don't see the eyes not closing all the way bug on there either. So, it's just the eye shape bug and the lighter eyelashes with preset eyes that are on the list that I see.

@crinrict I just read through the bug list that is under investigation etc that you posted on the new forum. It is missing two critical eye bug issues on there that are from this topic. The eyes not closing all the way (all animations) bug and the eyelids going into eyes bug. However, the eye shape bug and the lighter eyelashes with preset eyes bugs are on there.
