@crinrict Hi Crin! I made a new save to test this bug as a tenant: I rented a lot, bought a bookcase, went into manage worlds and then edited the lot, went back to live mode and all of the books were gone.
I also made a new save to test the bug as a landlord: I bought a residential rental lot, got a bookcase, went into manage worlds and then edited the lot, went back to live mode and the books were also gone.
Going into edit mode from live mode doesn't seem to trigger the bug, no matter if I'm a renter or a landlord, it only happens if I go into manage worlds. Travelling doesn't seem to trigger the bug either!

@IvVicious94 Is it also triggered by just going to manage world or do you also have to edit the lot ?

    @crinrict You have to edit the lot, otherwise the bug doesn't happen!

    I also have this problem. Everything in fridges, toy boxes, and bookcases keeps disappearing on my rental retail lot. At first I thought it was someone from the welcome wagon event that stole it all, then I thought it was because it was switching to a different household because I had shared libraries and a shared kitchen so I got rid of the shared fridge (I'm not too worried about loosing books and toys, but I am about food ingredients). Still kept happening. Then I discovered that my butler was a kleptomaniac so I deleted her from my game (I went to manage households because I was curious about her and deleted her from there). But it happened again. From reading this it may be because of editing the lot from manage worlds? Could be. I also, flattened another lot and brought a different Sim's pet to the vet.
