[ARCHIVED] [GRO] Infants can't get on and off playmat by themselves

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.97.62.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Almost all.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? have an infant that can crawl (has the crawl milestone). have a playmat.
What happens when the bug occurs? you will experience that they can only get on and off there by an adult.
What do you expect to see? That infants that have learnt to crawl can get on and off the playmat by themselves.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Infants are not able to get on and of the playmat that is on the ground by themselves, even after they have learned to crawl or scoot.

This is very annoying and makes them dependent on the adult sims while they should be able to do it themselves.

(it makes it extra annoying that the adult sim will put the infant on the playmat instead of on the ground 9/10 times).

    Exact same problem as described, no mods installed, playing on PC after the latest patch update. I figured that when they could crawl they would be able to move on and off themselves, but they can't. Really hoping playmats won't be the new high chair as my infant's parents are also trying to put them down on the playmat a lot. I feel bad having to have the infant try go to sleep on the floor because they cannot crawl onto the playmat right beside them when their parents are busy.

    This has always been the case in my game too, and it's kind of amazing that it hasn't been fixed after all this time.

    This is a bug?? I assumed it was a feature. But now that I think about it, it doesn't really make sense if it was, huh?
