I have get to work for the sims 4 and after the infant update i had an infant in my household and another sim with a live career. I would join my sim to work but when my sim got home my infant’s needs would be extremely low. I had two other sims at the house and the infant was not cared for. I tried going to my career and pressing the care for self options but there was no way for me to care for my infant while at a live career. I think this is a bug or something. When I would go to live careers with a toddler at home before my other sims would be able to care for them fine so idk, but it’s really annoying
Yeah, whenever I leave an infant at home with other members of the household their needs aren't cared for at all. It's honestly better to bring everyone and send the infant to daycare, which seems...really wrong, role playing wise. Like, I was paying 2 parents who were VERY attentive, and I wanted to make sure there was always one of them home with the baby because that seemed like what they would do. To have the parent left at home be SO BAD at taking care of their child while alone with them (with 7+ parenting skill no less!) is really disappointing.
