I'm on a Mac with a vanilla game, and the sliders are working as expected in both directions for me at least in CAS, didn't double-check to see if the changes took in-game.
Laptop mode/low graphics settings for the most part.
I wonder if it is a question of one graphics chipset vs another? I have Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 1536 MB

It might be, but this issue didn’t arise until after the new update in the first place so I’m assuming it has something to do with that. Before then they all worked perfectly.

I have an M1 mac and I know the last patch added native support for m1/m2 macs — maybe that could be a reason why?
- crinrict2 years agoHero+I'm going to mark this as mac issue until someone on play station or PC posts they also have it.

Oh of course @ThatSimsPlayer75 I didn't mean to imply that you were mistaken about it changing with the last update.
Clearly something did change with the last update. My guess is that perhaps that thing affects some chipsets but not others. Sorry not to be more clear.
- 2 years ago@mightyspritesims Oh no I understood what you meant, I was the one who worded that comment poorly. I agree that it probably has something to do with the chips, but also the new update since this wasn’t an issue with M1/M2 macs prior to the update. Another commenter confirmed that they did add native support for M1/M2 chips, so it’s very likely a chip and update issue. Sorry if I was unclear.
