[ARCHIVED] [MAC] Makeup/skin tone sliders don't work when sliding to the left

Hey y'all - I know "Makeup Sliders Going In Left Direction Won't Work" is bizarre and somewhat hard to understand, but I'll do my best to describe it: Regardless of the type of makeup I am attempting to adjust, any time I try to change the shade in the direction towards the left nothing happens. It also doesn't work on the darkening slider in that direction either; it will only lighten. I do not have any mods/cc installed in my game. I'm not sure which update could have broken this, because I've only noticed it since making sims for the new EP.
