Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have an infant reach their birthday, don't age them up with a cake, just wait for them to age up automatically. In my case it happened while my infants were at daycare because their parents were at work.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim ages up multiple times, from infant to teen
What do you expect to see? Sim ages up once

My sims had twin infants, and both parents went to work. While the infants were at daycare, the first infant aged up like normal, prompting me to choose a toddler trait. A few sim-minutes later, the other infant aged up the same way. However, for the second infant, this was repeated two more times, aging him into a teen. Each time I had to choose a trait and aspiration, but I had no opportunity to stop him from aging up.
