Also, when you hire a butler, and go on a vacation and stay on a vacation lot, a butler will come with you, however it is a completely different butler, and replaces the current butler you have. It's a completely separate code I think, as that bug is relevant to the lot, and not a vacation lot. There is a mod that fixes this issue for butlers and home lots, however with that mod, you still get the butler changing on a vacation lot, so it must be different coding for the vacation lot bug.
The issue is that the game has him hired from the butler academy, and not actually from the household, which causes the replacement issues when loading the home lot, or a vacation lot. The fix for the bug must be related to where he is hired from in the games coding, I also have a hunch that it has something to do with culling as well. It is best to document both of these bugs as one can happen if the other is fixed. So if one or the other gets patched we wont have to report it.

Hold on, you found one? I was searching all over the usual sites and at some point gave up, it was like no mod maker ever bought the pack or made more than one household. Could you link it (or if links aren't allowed, give a pointer where to look)?

also keep in mind they dont show up on weekends if you hire a butler on a weekend, they will show up on a monday, but still bhave and live in like a normal butler
Yeah it says on the site that the mod came out this may i think? I requested the modder also work on the vacation butler bug too, I hope they do 🙂 make sure to let them know haha
