[ARCHIVED] [XB1/PS4] Unable to Progress in tutorial due to greyed out selections

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.22
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? None. Just the base game also no cheats
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the tutorial to the point where it tells you to "take a vacation use your phone ".
What happens when the bug occurs? The phone is grayed out Aide you’re stuck in a endless tutorial.
What do you expect to see? The ability to use the phone to take a vacation
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I seen this bug reported for the PC but I can’t find if it was reported for the PS4. I know I’m not the only one who is experiencing this issue on console because someone on YouTube posted a video about this.

    I get up to the sims asperations where it says to take a vacation, go fishing, travel to a community venue, and meet 3 new sims and I can not progress because all but the meet 3 new sims is disabled by the tutorial itself it is all greyed out I've tried finding a way around it and thus far no luck

    @abcgSN6Scig6c9 I've merged your post into the bug report for this issue. Please click the "Me Too" button at the bottom of the first post on the first page of the thread.

    You can end the tutorial in the game options under tutorial and tips. You can still complete the tutorial aspiration once you've ended the tutorial.

    I’m having this issue also. Not having the issue you listed but I am stuck on simology and it won’t go further. I have no mods or cheats
