[ARCHIVED] [XB/PS] Paint Mode crashes game

This is happening to me too on Xbox series x. Just spent money on the pets pack a few days ago to not even be able to use it properly lol is anyone ever gonna fix this? It seems like it’s been happening for a while. I mean it’s August 2024

My game crashes everytime I try to edit or create using paint mode on a cat or dog. Usually it crashes when i press the paint mode button other times its when I use the paint brush. Anything I can do to fix it? This has been going on for MONTHS and it's been frustrating. My game is updated and no mods because it's Xbox. 

This continues to happen to us, too. It’s frustrating to see it’s been an issue for at least a year and a half & still has not been fixed. After purchasing the pets add-on for our game on PS5, we were excited to create an accurate replica of our dog as a sim,only to have it crash within minutes of entering paintbrush mode…every time we try. I am not having any problems with anything else on my PS5, so I know it is the game. Please, fix this. How sad is it that the talented people creating the Sims put all that hard work into developing this artistic part of CAS, only to have no one be able to use it?

While most things have been fixed with horse ranch every time I try to enter paint mode for horses it completely crashes the game instantly 

The game crashes on my Xbox every time I try to paint a horse. This expansion pack is not new and I don’t understand why there is not a fix for this yet? It’s one of the main reasons that I purchased it. I just want to make horses on the Sims that look like my real ones.when are we getting a resolution? 

I’ve just talked to an EA rep and reported it 🙂 I’ve been having this problem to and honestly the games way to expensive to not be able to customize our pets - they said they’d bring it up to the team and try and patch it up next update 

Any updates to fix this?
