@crinrict, thank you for looking. I rehired different sims, the same as what you did but it didn't work. I've just tried it again and it's now working. Very confusing why it didn't work the first time, but thank you very much for the help!
@Luisa_darke2002 Maybe there's a few Sims that have issues. Will check if that other host Sim has any special attributes that could explain the issue later today.
Is this still an ongoing problem for the game?? I tried opening a restaurant for the first time today and had same issue.
