Sadly me too on not able to write comedy routines. I rarely do the Jokestar aspiration but was working thru it yesterday and today.
* Spellcaster created in CAS yesterday (10 December 2019)
* Entertainer career and had been writing jokes and comedy routines without an issue.
* Played thru both Spellcaster aspirations.
* Per a chance card she was promoted to the top level of the comedy branch of the career.
* She was a couple days into her first DU classes and was composing a short routine when I cancelled the action for her to go to class.
* Living in Glimmerbrook she left to go to class and when she returned the option to resume writing the routine was there but kept cancelling out.
* Scrapped the routine but the option was totally gone from the computer.
* Traveled to one of the library lots on campus and added three different types of higher end computers. There was an option to write jokes but nothing at all for composing routines.
* Traveled back to home lot and still the option was missing from her lower end laptop.
* Saved and quit and went to repair game.
* Totally new folder and playing another Sim in a test save now.
