[FIXED] CC Filter not avaible in offline mode

Have a similar Problem.

I deleted my first created household and then trying to save the played household as a new save in my library.

It didn´t appear in my library.

Then i go to other options in game menu and activatet online-mode, so my "library" turned into "gallery".

Then, in households, there was an option to enable custom content in the household-filter, and when i enaled it, all my saved households were shown correctly.

But, this filtering-option is not avaylable in offline-mode, so i can´t enable it and therefor i can not see my saved households, when i use custom content on it. But i think, they are stil there, but invisible in case of not-enabled-filtering-option.

  • In offline mode, the advanced options menu in "My Library" is missing the options to enable viewing Unowned Content and Custom Content. These options are present in online mode. Sims I save with custom content cannot be viewed in "My library" in offline mode. They can only be viewed in online mode.

I have removed all mods and custom content. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Sims 4. I have tried the new installation without mods or custom content. The options are still missing in offline mode.

  • @ThomasAltvater Made it's own thread out of your report since the issue is differnt. I know I saw it reported before but I'm unsure if there's a single thread on it. I'll be checking that tomorrow and if not, I'll add yours to the compiled list.

    thx Crin 😕mileyhappy:

  • I still don't see the advanced options in my game in offline mode.

    When was it added?

There's no option to view library items with CC. Only if your online connected to the gallery and I don't use the gallery alot.

So I won't be able to view my own library creations saved locally because my Sim is wearing CC hair unless I stay online? Please tell me that's not true!

  • I don't create many Sims, and I don't use a lot of custom content. However, I created a Sim with custom content and saved him to my library, only to discover that I cannot SEE him in my own personal library unless Origin is in online mode and the game is enabled for the internet. There is no Advanced Option in my library to view Sims with cc when offline. This is strange, because I have a Sim with cc who I downloaded to my library some time ago, and I can see him just fine. I think this changed with some recent patch. Anyway, it is annoying not to be able to see Sims in my own library when offline, particularly ones I created myself, if they happen to have cc.

Thank you for adding this to the bug list.  It is rather annoying to have to go online to access what I've already downloaded.
