Sims will no longer be stuck on client's lots after completing a home decorator gig.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Accept a interior design job Go to job Finish job Invite clients back to lot Get stuck at lot; can't end event and can't go home after event ends at home (green countdown won't go away)
What happens when the bug occurs? I get stuck at a client lot after I do a "reveal renovation." Even if I try to end an event early, it will stay up and won't allow me to return home. If I let the event timer finish, the green countdown button will be all green but the event won't end. I get stuck at the lot and have to close without saving to be able to leave the lot.
What do you expect to see? Be able to go home after completing interior design job at client lot.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Had an update to Sims 4, so I updated it.

Thank gosh I'm not the only one experiencing this.. cannot find solutions anywhere
I am also having the same problem. Cannot complete gig. Cannot advance in career. Dear EA are there any perspectives that there will be any official patch to fix that? Sometimes I really wish to get my money back and return to Sims3. Fewer problems there.
