Sims will no longer be stuck on client's lots after completing a home decorator gig.

How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? 1.96.397.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Nearly every pack that exists.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I can't determine why it happens / what triggers it. Design lots of gigs and it will probably crop up.
What happens when the bug occurs? About 1/3 of the time when I take an interior design technician gig, I complete all required tasks, reveal the design, get the final verdict, and the reveal event doesn't end. My character doesn't have the option to return home when this happens, though I can sometimes thank a client for the job or recount the design.
What do you expect to see? I expect to have the event close, any reputation effects to be prompted, and payment to be processed. Once the event ends, my character is "released" from within the event and has the option to return home.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

I have the same problem. I mean its been month/years... They really should fix this... I mean its a whole pack that doesn't work.
Don't give up hope. Can't Fish In Winter has just made the laundry list and that's a bug that goes all the way back to Seasons.
