We addressed an issue resulting in a “Conflicting Block Cluster” error message that could occur while building, preventing you from being able to draw or move walls.
Fixed in Patch 1.62.67
With regards to split level houses and multi height foundations there is zero reason why they would not function in the game. Yet im unable to place half walls connecting to my deck so that i can have a blocked off garden. I know we can use fences but the point is we should not have to. With each subsequent release our build tools should improve. Why can we not yet do these simple things? What im asking for is not game breaking and despite my head scratching cannot fathom a single reason why this cannot work. Considering with all DLC this game is over half a thousand dollars in canadian currency (let that sink in) what im asking for is nil
I know how frustrated you are, like one time I didn't know if I should delete the game, or if I should have just cried. Okay but anyway, its a really easy fix. all you have to do is redo the foundation. Some items may go to your inventory but just redo the foundation. OH VERY IMPORTANT: make sure you redo the foundation all the way from the first floor. Otherwise, you may still have the same problem. okay yea then build your wall that was struggling and hopefully it'll work this time 🙂) good luck
I am trying to build two small houses on one lot - all I want to do is add a bathroom upstairs in the house on the right (see uploaded pic). It will not let me place a wall anywhere on that house level. It says 'can't connect blocks from different levels' but:
a) the houses are the same foundation level
b) I am not trying to connect them
Anyone able to help?

Many thanks @SheriGR for the offer, but I thought I wasn't going to get a reply here so I just rebuilt it in the end. It was a very strange thing though!
