I'm having this problem with the pressure cooker and the kettle. For the kettle in particular, usually when my Sims boil it and use it once, it starts emitting the filthy surroundings buff, stops being draggable, and sometimes even loses its upgrades if it has any. I can still use the "Put into inventory" command, but once in my inventory it doesn't have any options other than "Add to favorites".
Other times it stops being draggable but keeps the upgrades and doesn't emit the filthy surroundings buff on the first boil, but will lose the upgrades and get the buff on a second boil. I wonder if the bug is related to the appliance drag feature introduced in Home Chef Hustle?
ETA: The Tea Magic Personal Brewer is also getting the buff for me once a pot is boiled, and so is the Just a Spot of Tea, Tea Set. The Spot of Tea Tea Set stays draggable but can't be put into my Sim's inventory, only sold.
"Unpleasant Surroundings" Moodlet no longer triggered from the Pressure cooker and Kettle.
