[FIXED] Glutton Trait - Rummage Food not eatable

Glutton trait not working, not sure if anyone else is having this issue but my sim will take spoiled food out of the trash but I cannot eat it. Only resort is to clean it up after my sim digs it out....

    • Sims that can rummage for food in trash cans, can now also eat the food that has been rummaged from the can.
      • Trash can, soon it too shall fall into the category of things we reference that new generations won’t entirely understand.
        • Like why is the save icon in game a 3 ½”disk?
        • C’mon, if it were a 5 ¼” it would have a round shape in the middle.

    This was fixed in patch 1.24.102

I have this same problem. I removed mods that might have caused it I even tried using the repair function in Origin. This seems to be a recent glitch because I had a sim family that could eat the garbage food in her inventory just fine. Then I tried it with a teen sim on a new household and the option to eat the food never comes up. If I remove the plate of food that was in the garbage it looks like it has food on it. I can even look at the quality and what its called. As soon as I place the plate on a surface its just an empty plate. Very annoying really takes away from the fun of playing a low income Sim.
