[FIXED] [GTW] Tasks UI for Active Career is broken (especially with scenarios)

Tested this and it doesn't seem connected to the scenarios but to the UI changes although with scanarios it's more broken then without.

Doctor Career with no scenario. It looks a bit less broken but stil.

Actor looks okish I think if they meant to make the shadow this big

If anyone has time to test other task list, that would be appreciated.

Ulp, I tried a test save first for the new patch and did a Making Money scenario (my Sim has almost finished the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration and has made $100K), but I have another save where I have a scientist and an actor in the same household (siblings).  I'll fire it up tonight and take a look.

Okay, findings so far:

Someone on the General Discussion and Feedback forum said date objectives were messed up with Scenarios, but they looked fine in my save:

The Acting career looks fine in a non-scenario save:

I temporarily changed my Scenario Sim's career to scientist and it looks a little janky but is legible... unless there's a third objective I'm missing?

It’s broken if you play active a scenario. If you don’t have a scenario active the career ui works fine.

Its broken too, if you zoom in you see that your first task is: Browse Web one Computer

As is say, its work fine if you don’t play a scenario with a active career. I think the other active careers have the same bug.

You're correct. If you have a scenario and an active work task list, it overwrites the first task. If you only have one task, you can't even see it:

You can kinda see it if you zoom in as you said... but that's hard to do in-game.

Currently playing the money scenario with my sim being a detective, I have the same issue. While at the police station there is a workaround: use the bb.enablefreebuild cheat -> go to build/buy mode -> go back -> UI looks normal again (until you leave the lot). 

Tried with and without mods installed & I had someone from the Sims After Dark discord try to help, they advised me to report the bug. 

I tried adding a screen recording to this reply where it shows the problem + the workaround, but the file is too big ☹️

I'm not sure where the usual "Bug Report Form" has gone but here's the gist of the issue:

When you start a  new game of Rags to Riches, you can select any job you want, now I had the Scenario UI Open at Work and tried to "change" tabs. But the Old UI Stayed Open and no matter how I tried to fix it the UI was difficult to see (overlapped and slightly off-center), the major downside was the whole first objective on each of my "Work Day" Lists was illegible and I had to guess at what it was. For a Scientist this is simply not acceptable.

I played this Scenario on Zero Day of the patch so it's possible SDX has fixed it by now but I thought I'd go ahead and make mention of it for reference (I've been busy and couldn't report it earlier and it kind of slipped my mind)

I have 0 mods and no CC installed in this data, so we can exclude that as a cause. Also "Dayjobs" or "Rabbit Holes" don't seem to have any issues because they don't have special UI involved, it seems specific to professions with career tasks that vary day-by-day. The Main Culprit I've noticed is a scientist, but it's possible the same thing could happen to Detectives and Medical Staff too.

I will caution though that using the freebuild workaround, while it does work to solve this UI issue, if freebuild is enabled during the Making Money scenario it will cause a LastException when using build mode on lots that your Sim doesn't own, and possibly other issues. The Sims After Dark team believes it has to do with the Scenario goal being unable to track the Sim's funds while freebuild is enabled.

For reference, the error caused in this situation looks like this in an mccc error report:
