Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure exactly?
What happens when the bug occurs? When a holiday is about to occur, I do not get the pop-up the day before, I do not get the holiday objectives in the top left corner during the holiday, basically the holiday doesn't occur.
What do you expect to see? I'd like to experience all holidays consistently!!
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

So, after getting a few LE errors I went to the MCCC discord to ask them about it. Talking to Deaderpool himself he suggested I take out all mods, including mccc, and to play the game file long enough until the LE occurs (which is right away) then look in the sims 4 folder for a last exception error and sure enough there was one there. When I brought this info back to the discord he said it was a core script game error. After asking for suggestions he mentioned sometimes lots can cause a problem but basically it's a shot in the dark as to what is causing it. I created yet another new save file (after many, trying to resolve the issue) expecting the same LE error to occur. To my surprise, winterfest was the next day and I got a little pop up from the calendar saying so!! I was extatic!! Then, came the holiday....and I got to experience it!!!!! It was wonderful. 🙂 That was all yesterday. Today, logged in to play game, by this time (i think sometime last night) I had added my mods back in, and things were going fine! I got a pop-up saying that New Years Day was the next day...so happy!!! Aaaand then, the holiday is here: 6am, New Years Day....nothing. Saved/exited, then re-entered the game BOOM!!!! Same LE!!!! ☹️
So, dragged my mods folder to the desktop and started up the game again, to find a brand new LE error waiting for me!! I'm soooo bummed!!! Why is my game cursed??
I have repaired the game and deleted my localthumbcache file multiple times!!!
Sorry for the weird triple post thing on top...had trouble "submitting" this bug report. Also tried to include a text file, the last exception error. Let me try that here!

I had the same error. I believe it was also caused a lack of any weather change since I got seasons (unless I used the weather machine)/
I also believe (forgive my short term memory) that it corrupts the save, so you may need to go back to a save before the error started, I may be wrong, but I think thats what messed me up. If you load a new game with no mods you shouldn't get the error, but you will with the save because of data stored. So it's kind of a bug but caused by cc.
This was my experience. There was a mod that was causing this error, in my case I narrowed it down to one of littlemssam's mods. I hadn't updated all the ones I was using from littlemssam. I found this out by moving mods, saves, etc. to my desktop, then repairing the game. Running the game without anything enabled. Then started with just MCCC, then went the 50/50 method. Found the issue. Once that was cleared up, I needed to move my family to another world before seeing the weather fixed but the error was gone and all seemed good.
I've been playing about 18 hours now and, all was good, but that da*m error just popped up out of nowhere. So back to the drawing bored. Hope this helps.
